Erin Haluschak

I've been a journalist with the Comox Valley Record since 2008. My journey in the world of journalism has allowed me to engage with the community and share stories that matter.

I also wear the hat of a producer and host for the Record's weekly podcast, Off The Page.

I was selected as one of 90 female journalists worldwide to attend the Poynter Institute's 2019 Leadership Academy for Women in Digital Media, held in Florida. I'm honoured to be a mentor with Digital Women Leaders, which serves as an invaluable coaching resource for women and non-gender binary individuals working in the news industry, offering access to trusted resources that help them advance as leaders.
