Cruelty and meat-free, PETA is prepping to serve up vegan turkey for the holiday season.

On Sunday, Dec. 10, PETA supporters will don their best Christmas attire and head to Cook Street Village to give away free Gardein Turk’y.

These Santa’s helpers are looking to help people celebrate Christmas with vegan feasts, according to PETA executive vice president Tracy Reiman.

“PETA is encouraging everyone to spread comfort and joy for animals this Christmas by opting for delicious vegan fare,” said Reiman.

To get your paws on some vegan turkey go to Cook Street Village (near the intersection of Cook and Oxford streets) at 2 p.m., Sunday.
