With respect to Victoria council’s decision on camping in local parks, what are you thinking? Who railroaded this one through? This is another ridiculous band-aid solution.
We have been there before. This will not be enforced (your call), will escalate, campers will crowd in and refuse to leave, and you have another filthy mess to clean up, at the taxpayers’ expense!
Maybe you have again forgotten where the funding comes from, including for your salaries, benefits and expense accounts? Yes and an eight per cent increase again this year on these beautiful properties that the owners/taxpayers will be afraid to leave and enjoy the parks they pay for.
