Vinko Mesic, born in Selo Gornja Kamenica, Križpolje, Croatia on January 6, 1934 has passed away peacefully at the age of 88 with family at his side at the West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni, BC on November 12, 2022.
Vinko will be greatly missed by his family. Survived by his loving and devoted wife Milka of 55 years. Children Victor from Parksville, Jenny (Mark) Baxter of Victoria, Jackie (Stephen) Boudreau from Nova Scotia. Grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, James, Andrew, Jonathan, Aleka, Eviny, sister Jelka Mesic and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Vid and Jelka, brothers Pave (Zora), Milan (Mica) in Canada and Slavko, Manda and Maria in Croatia.
Thank you for the special care and compassion from the wonderful nurses at West Coast General Hospital, Dr. Brown and staff and BC Ambulance.
A visitation and prayer service will be held 7:00 pm Thursday November 24th at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005 6th Avenue in Port Alberni B.C.
Interment will be at 1:00 pm Friday November 25th at Royal Oak Burial Park, 4673 Falaise Drive in Victoria B.C.
