Verity Purdy, born in her parents’ home on Seaton St. in Vancouver on June 6, 1922, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Heath, her son Roger and her husband Rai’s children, Brian and Brenda. She will be remembered warmly by all for her incredible energy, her vivacity, her creativity and her unquenchable belief in the importance and power of kindness. In the end, from the mists of her dementia, floated the mantra that was the foundation of her spirit: “The only reason for being, the only thing that really matters, is love. She sends her farewell love, support and thanks to all of her family and dear friends.
