Farewell Beloved Sylvia, Grandmother & Friend!
Thank you to all the people who loved and cherished the Matriarch of our small family. She will be forever remembered through her devoted love, her artistry and her dedication to whatever her small hands were busy doing. Be it painting, gardening, knitting and loving the countless dogs that made their way into her life, every moment was mindful.
A special thanks goes out to the staff at Dufferin Place. They loved Sylvia and cared for her like she was a member of their family.
Taking care of patients who experience dementia is not easy, it takes tenacity and a patient heart to do so. The work you do is at most under-appreciated but please hear this, we see you and cherish you!
We would also like to thank Gram's friends for their unwavering friendship and the care you gave our grandmother over the years.
Gram, you have left behind a legacy, not only through loving unconditionally but through your incredible gift of painting. Whether it be landscapes, the delicate detail of a flower or a portrait of a loved one passed, every one of your brush strokes was a mark of love.
Sylvia, Gram and Friend you did good. We love you and will miss you always.
