Sharon Gail Warne of Comox passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her parents, Erwell and Lila Ashdown; her sister Marlene and brother Dwayne. Sharon is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband of 56 years, Reg; daughters Raeanne Warne-Steele (Glenn), Sherri Warne and Shannon Warne (Danny); grandchildren Joseph, Justin, Garrett, Meagan, Lyden and Erin; great grandchildren Zachary, Tristen and Emmerson, as well as her brother Arlin (Nicole); sister Patricia and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was an avid golfer, and a member of Glacier Green Ladies Golf Club where she served as treasurer. In addition to golf, she loved gardening, travelling and entertaining. Sharon will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will take place at a later date. For those wishing, donations in Sharon's memory to the BC Cancer Society would be appreciated.
