Scott Milne

It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Scott Daniel Albert Milne. He is survived by his mom Lois, father Bill, brothers Brent, Jason ( Tracy ), Darren ( Jayme), and sister Jenna (Billy). Also mourned by his children Alyssa, Christopher, Kaylee and Emily. He will also be missed by his nieces Breanna, Brittany, Bailee, Emily, Deserae, Madison and his nephews Alex, Brody, Nick and Brandon.

On January 4, 2019 Scott became a first-time grandpa when his daughter Alyssa gave birth to a beautiful baby boy - Tristan Christopher Scott Hurley. He would have been so proud.

Scott was born in North Burnaby, BC and moved to Port Hardy with his family when he was 15. Over the years he worked up and down the island on fishing boats, heli-logging and in the construction industry as a carpenter. He spent his last years in Campbell River. Scott made many friends throughout BC and Alberta. He was known for his good nature and making people laugh.

There are many "Scotty" stories out there. If Scott were to have his way it would be that we are not sad for him being gone and to remember and cherish the fun times that we all had together. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 19, 2019 at the Thunderbird Hall, 1420 Wewaikum Road in Campbell River from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
