Sandra Ruth Dickson
Sandra was born February 7, 1949 in Devon UK. In school she played field hockey and javelin. She graduated from University of Plymouth in Art.
In 1967, she married John Dickson and they moved to Germany with the Southern Hylanders army where they had there first child Alister. In 1973 they immigrated to Surrey BC where they had their second child David. Sandra lived in Sandspit, Queen Charlotte Islands for many years where she worked at the airport as a ticket agent.
In 2008 she moved to Campbell River to help raise her grandchildren. In 2014 she had a double lung transplant, and just a few months ago was diagnosed with skin cancer.

She is survived by her sons (Alister & David Dickson); both parents (Ruth & Frank Emms); brother (David Emms) and grandchildren (Ethan, Leigham & Sophie Dickson).
