In loving memory of Russell Mitton, born on November 25, 1960, who peacefully passed away on February 1, 2024.

He is survived by Wendy, his devoted wife of 37 years, and their son Kyle (Kari Fawkes) and daughter Danielle (Greg Strom). Rusty (aka Gumpy) leaves behind a cherished legacy, remembered fondly by his grandchildren, Carson (Olivia), Jack, and Charlie.

They were the light of his life and the kick in his step. Watching them grow and pursue their passions were some of his proudest moments.

He is also survived by his sisters, Jackie (Darsh) and Colleen, brother Dan (Pam) and a vast circle of family and friends.

A celebration of Rusty's life to share fond memories & stories will take place overlooking the Bay on February 25 at the Ocean Front Suites in Cowichan Bay from 1 pm to 4 pm.
