In loving memory ~
With great sadness we announce the passing of Ron Laity at his home in Oliver, BC on March 24th, 2022.
Ron was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Anita Laity of Lantzville. He is survived by sons Kevin and Curtis (Kianne), beloved granddaughter Brooke-Lynn, sister Lynda; extended family and lifelong friends.
Growing up in Lantzville Ron played many sports, excelling at fastball pitching. Ron could grow a vegetable garden anywhere and enjoyed cooking especially on the BBQ. His sense of humour made you smile.
Driving a truck (any truck) was something he enjoyed, starting with his Dad's (Ken's Trucking), went on to operate K&C Trucking and later with Knappett.
He grew up on the water and boats and fishing were always a big part of his life.
Picture Ron upon a quiet riverbank, casting a line and know that he will be greatly missed but he's just gone fishing.
