Rolly was born in the West End of Montreal, Quebec 1940.
Predeceased by; her parents Rolin and Augustine Higgins, sisters Irene and Georgette, husband Georges, granddaughter April, daughter Manon as well as her second husband Raymond.
Rolly Higgins married Georges Ricard on August 31st, 1957. They moved their family from Montreal to British Columbia in 1967 where they proudly raised 5 children together.
Mom loved to cook and spent many years cooking in local restaurants as well as in her own catering business.
Rolly was a member of the Legion, Moose Lodge, Eagles, and Seniors Center. She was the founder and president of the Mid Island AIDS Society and contributing to her community was very important to her.
Later in life (July 17th, 2004) Rolly was blessed with a loving husband Raymond Jann, though their time was short it was certainly full of fun with family and friends.
The family would like to extend great appreciation to the Health Care Team that made it possible for Mom to be comfortable at home as she wished.
Forever remembered by her sons; Daniel, Serger, Claude, Alain, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Tea will be held Sunday, July 31st 2022 from 1 to 3 pm at Yates Memorial Services, Parksville.
