Passed away peacefully on January 9, 2018 at Chemainus Health Centre, at the age of 93.

Bob grew up in Chemainus and was a veteran of WWII, where he saw action as a tail gunner in a Lancaster Bomber. He retired from Chemainus Sawmill after 38 years.

He was a founding member of the Mount Breton Golf Club where his smooth swing was admired by many.

Survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn, daughter Lori (Gildo) Novelli, and son Bob Jr. (Heather) Jansch. Grandchildren, Joel, Jennifer, Michelle, Kayla, Sofi and Leo.

Great-grandchildren Ava, Brayden, Emmett and Lino.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
