Surrounded by love, it is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Rejeanne Gagnon.
Rejeanne is preceded in death by her two daughters Gabrielle and Nancy and her son-in-law Al. Rejeanne is survived by her daughters; Francine, Marcelle (Mark), Helene (Lorentz), Louise (Mike) and her grandson Brock (Glenn) who mom raised, and 10 grandchildren; Lucas, Cory, Kurtis, Myranda, Marie, Tamara, Stephanie, Dillon, Kyle, Trevor and two great grandchildren Konnor and Zach.
Rejeanne came from a large family, being 1 of 15 children, born and raised on a farm in Belcourt, Quebec. Rejeanne moved to Campbell River with her family in 1972.
She worked many years at the Coast Discovery Inn, then at Elk Falls Fishing Resort. Mom then started her own house cleaning business which she did for over 20 years. She was also known in the Georgia Park neighbourhood as the "Paper Lady".
Mom was a very hard worker who believed in doing things right. She was extremely loyal to her family, friends and customers.
Rejeanne had a caring nature and a quick wit with a great sense of humor. She could make anyone laugh in her special way. Rejeanne went over and above to help her family and friends and she will be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank the staff and management at Discovery Harbour Senior's Community for their care over the last year.
There will be no service due to Covid-19 restrictions.
