In Loving Memory ~
Dad left us peacefully and with love. He was little but a force to be reckoned with. We are all proud of him for his strength all of his life, but mostly in the last 6 weeks. What a fighter!!
Paul was born in Halifax to Roy Sr and Pearl. He had fond and funny memories of growing up in and running Cowie Hill. We moved to Cumberland in '86 and it became home. His love of baseball, darts, crib and pool also brought him so many friends. And all he really wanted was to get better and hit Sunnydale with all his fellow golfers but especially the rat pack.
He leaves behind his brothers Gerry and Roy (Rhonda), his sister Jackie (Rick), nephews Curtis, Aaron, Rick and Greg, neice Tiffany, his step children Mark Cameron and Bonnie White, and his loving daughter and best friend Angie.
I know Dad will miss all of his friends and family and friends who became family, and maybe golf most of all. Or harassing people. Always quick with a joke or sassy remark, he had the biggest heart ever and he loved to make people smile.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff at CVH and the amazing staff at Royal Jubilee who fought along with him.
Celebration of Life to be held at Sunnydale Golf Course, June 12th at 2pm.
Bring your sense of humor. Cryers will be penalized :)
