It is with heavy hearts we announce that Pamela Ann Thorpe lost her short battle to cancer on May 26th at Nanaimo Regional Hospital with her family by her side. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Kayla (Troy Saunders), granddaughter Raquel, mom May, father Ron (Sandi), brother Marvyn of Edmonton, stepsister Melissa (Ross), stepsister Christina (Morgan, son Hudson), numerous aunts, uncle and cousins. Pam is predeceased by her grandparents William and Wanda Kobzey, Anna Peters and John Thorpe. Pam was a devoted grandmother to Raquel.
Pam was born and raised in Nanaimo, attended Pleasant Valley Elementary, and Wellington High School. Pam was a fighter and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
