With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear father that was a jack of all trades. Dad was a man of many talents and we were often reminded from many of how much they had learned from him.
Left to cherish his memories is his four daughters Cathy Georgeson (Dave), Theresa Advocaat (Doug), Patricia Fehr (Dwaine), and Lisa (Terry). Mervin is also survived by his two sisters Marleen, Debbie (Larry) and his brother Robin (Sandra), as well as his brother and sister in laws. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and many family members and special friends.
Mervin was born in Sudbury, Ontario and was raised in Saskatchewan where he met the love of his life Linda of 48 years and raised their four daughters. The family moved to Vancouver Island in 1976 and settled in Campbell River till his passing .He enjoyed camping, road trips and making many new friends.
There will be no service at this time, a celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the heart and stroke foundation or a charity of your choice.
