It is with profound heartbreaking sorrow for the family of Marshall to announce his passing.
To have known our Marshall, was a blessing in itself. He was an incredible strong, patient, humble and talented man. He spent many years in the trucking industry as owner operator. Marshall helped build the Gold River Highway, he continued into the logging industry driving truck and operating equipment. He was a meticulous operator. People would say "I could watch him all day, he operates so smoothly".
Marshall helped with the construction of the skateboard park in Willow Point. Marshall was very respected in the logging and construction industry's. If Marshall wasn't available for the job, clients would wait. One of the many things Marshall loved to do was to head south, have a cold beer in the desert and do some gold searching and meeting and keeping many new friends. He was quick witted, could tell the best jokes ever and he truly enjoyed life.
Marshall shared his love and compassion with everyone. He truly was our rock star. He always had a kind word, a hug or a handshake. Marshall loved and adored all of his family and friends. He was an amazing husband and partner to his wife Lorri, he was an excellent friend to his former wife Gayle Andres, He was an amazing father to his daughters Shelly (Nick) Skogan, Jodie Jenkins, stepdaughter Rona Cameron and stepson Dylan. He was an awesome brother to his sister Jayne (David) Kelly and his brother Keith (Sam) Jenkins. He was an awesome son in law to Dot (Bud) Mann and Helen and Dennis Andres. He was an awesome uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He adored all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
To all of you that knew and loved Marshall, thank you for being a part of his life. He deeply loved all of us. Our world as we know it will never be the same without Marshall in it. Marshall is predeceased by his mother Gladys Jenkins and his father Fred Jenkins.
The family would like to thank all of Marshall's medical team. Dr. Meckin, Dr. Stegeman, and all the ladies of the C.R. Cancer Clinic. Dr. Morrison and Jeanna, you all are amazing.
