Sadly we announce the peaceful passing or Marlene at Glacier View Lodge on July 2, 2022. Born in London, Ontario to Leonard and Viola Bear. Predeceased by loving husband George Plank of 64 years, parents, brothers; Don and Max Bear and also daughter Vicki Adams.
Mom will sadly be missed by daughter Christine Wood (Mike) of Courtenay BC. Son George Plank (Valerie) of Delaware, Ontario. Daughter Terri Hamblin (Marty) of St. Thomas, Ontario. Also 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. Mom had a a great love of all music. Having sung at many weddings and enjoyed a good sing along. She was a long standing member of the Comox Legion Br. 160 and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary for many years.
The family would like to thank Dr. Neufeld, Home & Community Care (Staff), Glacier View Lodge (Staff) for all their help and compassionate care.
Celebration of Life to be held at the Comox Legion Br 160 (Upper Hall) on Saturday September 17th, 2022 at 1pm
