It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Marilynn passed away leaving behind her devoted husband of 64 years, Donald, loving daughter Jocelyn, son-in-law Kevin and her grandchildren Nicholas and Owen. She will be missed by her niece Susanne and nephew John.
Marilynn Yvonne Manley (née Durey) was born in Toronto where she lived before moving with her parents to England. Her family stayed in England for the duration of WW2 before returning to Canada. In the late 80's she and the family moved to British Columbia, first Sidney and then Courtenay.
Marilynn also leaves behind many close friends and extended family in BC, Ontario and England. Her friends and relationships were very important to her. Many fond hours were spent with her friends at Grace Church in Markham, the Gourmet Group, dinner parties and book clubs. Marilynn will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Memorial donations in Marilynn's name may be made to Operation Smile Canada.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
