Lou was born April 04, 1953 in Lethbridge, Alberta. He went to be with God on April 15, 2024.
His parents were Popko and Jantina (Kruize) Tromp. Lou has one sister Tilly (Tony) and one brother Ben (Ella).
In 1979, Lou married his best friend Margriet (Elzinga). They have 4 wonderful sons, 4 daughters-in-law, and 6 grandchildren. Lou also has 1 daughter from a previous marriage.

Providing for his family was very important to Lou and he worked hard all his life as a painter. Lou was always described as a kind and gentle man. He loved animals, especially his dogs. He liked motorcycles and old cars. He liked camping and riding his bike; he enjoyed nature.
Lou will be missed by many; he will be in our hearts forever.
