It is with deep sadness the grieving family of Linda Anne Hemmingsen acknowledges her passing on April 19, 2021. Her death has left a profound void in the lives of all who cared for her.
She was predeceased by her parents Margaret (Peggy) and Roxburgh (Roy) Richmond, and younger brother Roy Jr.
She's survived by her life long love; husband Mark, their devoted and grateful children; son Kris and daughter Darlene, and her cherished grandchildren Saleem, George and Dante, as well as her sister Susan (Dick) Chambers, brother Gary (Judy) Richmond, sister Barbara (Graham) Cranage, brother David Richmond, sister Cathy (Don) Whyte, brother-in-law Ed (Nancy) Hemmingsen, long time friend Yvonne Arentsen, her loving feline companion 'Thumbs The Cat' and a great multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda and Mark began their journey together in high school in 1968 and married in 1972. Linda was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker who brought wonder and magic to every holiday, occasion and moment she shared with her loved ones. She joyfully cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandkids. Linda was a master craftsman, decorating countless delightfully creative cakes for birthdays, weddings and other special events.
She loved her family deeply and that love will carry on in the hearts of all who are feeling this tremendous loss.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
