Passed away peacefully in NRGH on May 4th. He was predeceased by the love of his life and wife Ella. Also predeceased by father Albert, mother Mary, son Doug, two sisters and six brothers.
He is survived by daughter Sandra, son Gord (Monica) and son Don (Valerie) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Knob Hill Alberta on May 21st, 1926 he moved to Nanaimo with his family as a teen.
He met Ella in Nanaimo and they were inseparable. He loved building and renovating houses. He enjoyed living at Wexford and the staff were always kind and caring.
We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at NRGH for the care he received.
He was a devoted family man and will be sadly missed but not forgotten.
