It is with great heartache that the family announce the passing of Josephus "Jeff" Stanislaus Marinus.
Jeff passed away on October 16, 2019 at Comox BC. Born in Gueliz, Holland on May 26, 1942. Jeff moved with his family to Comox Valley in 1953. Jeff worked and held many positions, the longest being at Dairyland from 1969 until his retirement in 2002. He loved playing soccer and softball, where you would see him coaching/umpiring. He was a longstanding member of the Courtenay Fish & Game Assoc., where he served as treasurer for 35 years. He had a love of fishing, camping & hunting which he enjoyed with his family, friends and anyone he met while there.
Predeceased by his son Wayne, parents John and Johanna, and brother Hub.
Survived by wife of 57 years Genevieve, daughter Diana (Ken), son Daryl (Christie), grandchildren; Andrew (Callie), Justice, Spencer, Michael, Dan, Casey, Dylan. Great grandchildren; Kye, Maia and Emma, brothers; John & Pete, and sisters; Fien, and Nell.
