Margaret-Jean Faulks, of Courtenay, British Columbia passed away on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 in Courtenay, B.C. at age 95. Born in Kelowna, B.C. April 5th, 1927.
Predeceased by husband David (1997). Survived by son David John (Ruth) and grandsons Nathan (Raiko), their son Elliot; and Matthew (Erin) and their children Maple and Amsden.
She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star and Past Matron and Grand Chaplain of Florence Chapter 53. Margaret held a Bishop's license as a Licensed Lay Reader in the parish of Saint John the Divine where she also served as Warden and as member of Parish Council and of the Altar Guild.
Cremation has taken place.
Celebration of her Life will be at the Church of Saint John the Divine, 579 Fifth Street, Courtenay, B.C. on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at 10a.m., followed by interment at St. Andrew's Cemetery with reception at St. John's following.
No flowers, please. Donations may be made to the St. John the Divine Memorial Fund. Thank you to all who have cared for and helped Mom in so many ways throughout her journey in her last years.
