Our hearts are broken as our family mourns the loss of our beloved sister, Jane. Her bright spirit, lively intelligence, and big heart left us too soon. Jane will be forever remembered for her kindness, generosity, and adventurous spirit.
Jane, who was born in Nanaimo on October 27, 1953, passed away suddenly on April 8, 2022, at the home she shared with her partner, Doug Ross in Carcross, Yukon.
Jane's younger sister, Anita Grey, younger brother, Rob Grey (Melanie), older brothers, David (Audette) and Paul (Imelda) and stepbrothers, Dave, Richard and Brian Rush all share memories of Jane's never-for-a-moment-dull life and times. Jane will also be remembered by her many extended family members.
Jane was predeceased by her mom, Joy Gigun and her father, Robert Grey.
A Celebration of Life will be held by Jane's siblings in a small gathering. If so desired, memorial tributes can be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
