It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jan Maandag of Denali Dr, Duncan (lately Sunridge Place).
Jan was predeceased by his beloved wife Muriel, and son Douglas. He is survived by his son Dave (Kim), grandchildren David (Amy), Tyler (Alitha), Robert (Crystal), Hannah (John) and Esther (Carlos) as well as 9 great-grandchildren. He has 2 sisters-in-law; Elta Brown in Victoria, and Coby Maandag in Ontario, along with nephews and nieces in Ontario and Victoria.
Special thank you to the caring staff at Sunridge who took such good care of Jan.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery 6494 Somenos Road, Duncan on May 9th at 10:30 am. Reception after to be held at Sands Funeral Home, 187 Trunk Rd, Duncan, B.C.
