It is with breaking hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Beth) Trent on Nov 29, 2018 after a long battle with dementia.
Born in 1936, daughter of Phillip and Florence Holmes of Oakville Man.
Predeceased by Sister Doreen, brothers Stan and Art.
Survived by husband Jack of 62 years, children Cindilla, (Doug), Scott, (Lorna), Teressa, (Dan) and her grandchildren Shelby, William, and Holly. Her sisters Hazel and Isabel and brother Joe, and many nieces and nephews.
Beth worked as a secretary and receptionist for several businesses throughout her working career. She also facilitated the running of the Pearl Ellis Gallery for many years.
Beth had many creative hobbies including, painting, sewing, gardening and playing piano.
Many thanks to Dr. Hunter and all the caregivers and staff at Mountain View Care home in Comox BC who cared for her with such love and gentle compassion, and the day program staff at Glacier View Lodge.
Flowers gratefully declined.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
