Predeceased by his parents Phillip and Ellis (Ellie), brother Ron and sisters Molly and Ada. Brother in Law Laurie and Sisters in Law Gwen, Jean and Vi. Survived by his Brothers Phil (Maureen) and Joe, and Sisters Vi (Steve), Rita (Barry), Marcia (Chris) and Brother in Law Mel. Buster is also survived by many, many Nieces and Nephews plus Great and Great / Greats.

Buster was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley. He was a World War 2 veteran and after the war made his living in the logging industry. Buster had a passion for trains and volunteered countless hours at the BC Forest Museum for a number of years. He also had a lifelong passion for gardening, a task that was never a chore for Buster and one in which he found great peace and pleasure.

The family would like to thank Ray and Marilyn of Deer Lake Lodge in Mill Bay and Kurt Pyrch for being his good friends and looking out for his best interests. We would also like to extend a heartfelt and most sincere "Thank You" to the Staff and residents of Acacia TyMawr in Shawnigan Lake, for their care and friendship through the last years of Buster's life.

Buster will be sadly missed but happily remembered by everyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Shawnigan Lake on Sunday October 28th from 1 pm till 4 pm.
