On Wednesday, September 27th David Fuller passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 87.

He is predeceased by his parents and his 9 brothers and sisters.

David completed a Bachelor of Education at University of Queensland. He worked in Queensland as a teacher where he met his wife of 60 years, Joan. In 1967, with wife and children he immigrated to Canada (Abbotsford) and taught English and Film studies.

After completing his Masters in Education at the Western Washington University he worked as a principal at Abbotsford Junior High School up until his retirement in 1991.

After retiring, David and Joan moved to Nanaimo in order to be closer to their grandchildren Michael and Stephanie.

David enjoyed going on long bike rides, making and critiquing films in both local and international clubs, listening to classical music and opera and travelling. His love for film was often intertwined with his love of spending time with family. He would often film the antics of his grandchildren, sometimes even using them in his own film projects as actors.
