It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Smithers. Beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend - Christine Smithers passed suddenly on the morning of August 19th, 2018. She is loved and will be eternally missed.
Christine grew up in Nanaimo, B.C. where she graduated from John Barsby School. She studied psychology and social and behavioral studies in hopes of helping others.
Christine will live on, forever loved, in her fiance David Pollard and their children Autumn Pollard and Bryson Pollard. She will be forever missed by her parents Terri Campbell and Brian Smithers; Tammie and Brian Mowatt. She will be forever remembered by her sisters Michelle Smithers, Keeley Mowatt, and Kaylynn Mowatt.
Christine goes to be reunited with her loving grandmother Dorothy "Kay" Campbell.
A celebration of life will be held on September 16th, 2018 at the Coast Bastion Hotel at 1pm.
