Christian John Lorenzen passed away peacefully in his home on August 4th, 2022.
John was born in Victoria, BC on September 26th 1937; the oldest of three siblings. John had an outrageous sense of humour and could only be described by those who knew him as "a character". John was a jack of all trades building his own home in Mill Bay and working as an electrician, real estate agent, computer specialist, and ending his career as a building inspector.
John is survived by his brother Charles (Charlie) Peter Lorenzen, sister Kathleen Miller, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Jennifer Hermary (Levi Tarrant), Zachary Stark, Deidre Bennett, Kristin Lorenzen (Landon Lewis and Ariel Brulotte) and Terrance Lorenzen. John was also survived by his beloved terriers Maximum and Rosebud. John was predeceased by his wife Edith Lorenzen, son Christian Lorenzen, daughter Tammy Hermary, and second wife Roberta Lorenzen.
There will be a celebration of life held for John on Sunday, October 2nd from 1-3 at 3250 Telegraph road where friends and family can share a story and a laugh in honour of John's memory.
