Carol F. Beaton passed away peacefully on August 18, 2022 at Cowichan District Hospital amongst her closest family.
She is survived by children Stephen, Jamie, Curtis, Matthew, Bryan and Michael. Also, Grandchildren Brandi, Ashlynne, Kyle, Neil, Addison, Emilija, Lacey and great grandchildren Abigail and Emma, More than being the best mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was also nurse and a caring friend.
She was born Carol F. Grute in St. Boniface, Manitoba on October 22, 1938 to a loving mother Norma Hancock (ex. Grute) who was also one of her best friends before her passing at 98 years old. She loved to play cards, slot machines and shuffleboard with her friends in Cowichan District. Her final love John Brown passed before her.
