"The Foreign Going Master's Last Ship Departed"Â
After a long battle with illness Alan passed peacefully at home April 23, 2019.
A Saltwater Cowboy at heart he sailed all the seven seas.. He came ashore in St John's NFLD in 1978 and worked for Transport Canada as Steamship Inspector, transfers to Prince Rupert in 1986 and to Nanaimo in 2000.
His many eventful journeys by land and sea are complete.
Alan requested no service.
