Celebration of Life
Losing Billy in December left a huge hole in our family. But it has been made easier by the continued outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and the community.
Thank you to everyone who sent cards or posted condolences online; dropped off food; sent flowers; left messages; made donations in Billy's name; and gave their time, creative talents, and resources (Billy K Jr. memorabilia) to help in whatever way they could.
We can't thank you enough.
Now it's time to celebrate the fun-loving man with the twinkle in his eyes, big bushy beard, and generous heart.
Saturday, May 27, 2023 2 p.m. Sherman Road Soccer Fields, 3272 Sherman Road, Duncan, B.C.
Join us at the soccer fields where Billy spent so much of his life. In addition to stories from a few of those closest to him, there will be a memory tree to post messages or pictures you'd like to share and memory stones for those who would like something to remember him by.
Please wear your soccer jerseys, Billy K. Jr. gear, or his favourite colour blue.
All ages are welcome!
Light refreshments and snacks will be on hand after the speeches - including popsicles like the ones Coach Billy handed out to his soccer kids.
And in honour of Billy's involvement in the local brew pub scene, join us for an evening of burgers, beer, and live music.
5 p.m.The Oak Taphouse, 3287 Cowichan Lake Road, Duncan, B.C.
Adults only for this part of the celebration. Burgers and some snacks will be provided. Drinks will be available for purchase from The Oak Taphouse.
