In loving memory ~

Barb was born in Moncton, NB on January 5, 1938 to George & Helen Jones. At the age of 8 the family moved to British Columbia where George worked as a cook in several logging camps before planting roofs in Port Alberni where Barb was able to finish her schooling. At the age of 18 she got a job with the Plywood's where she worked for several years before pursuing her passion and love for animals.
In the sixties, Barb's love of animals flourished when she got her first Keeshond. She then went on to opening Klitsa Kennels, Klitsa Pet Shop and finally The Barking Spot.
Barb was a respected lifetime member of the AV Kennel Club, Canadian Kennel Club, Keeshond Club of BC and Canada. Her Keeshonds were well known as Top Quality Champions.
In her free time her enjoyment came from her beloved dogs, feeding her Koi fish and gardening.
Barb is predeceased by husband James Wilson, parents George and Helen Jones, brothers George and David Jones. She is survived by sister Gloria Jones, brothers James and William Jones as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
