With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Daughter Angela Lynn Purdey, March 28, 2022 at 6:00 AM in Palliative Care of Nanaimo Reginal General Hospital.
Her wonderful care giver of 27 years---Teri Forbes-Martin was by her side. Angela had many inoperable brain tumors & was sent home when they emptied the hospital for COVID 19.
Born June 26, 1974 in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital to parents Donald Alex Purdey and Beverly Anne Purdey (Agle), sister to big brother Brad.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, on April 9 2022 at 1:00 PM . We will always appreciate the kindness to Angela by many great people. Angela will be remembered for her sense of humor and singing 50's Rock & Roll songs.
Following the cremation a Graveside Service will be held at the Purdey Family Plot in Haney (Maple Ridge) at a later date on a sunny day to be arranged. In lieu of flowers donations to the Child Development Centre would be appreciated.
