Albert Fernand Denis passed away in Vernon BC at the age of 83 after a brief battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his parents Roger & Marie Anne, brothers Rene & Adrien & sister Alice.
Survived by partner Julie Monjo, son Rick (Leah), son Gerry, daughter Lena (Rob), son Roger (Rodney), son Neal (Karen) 9 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
Albert grew up in Leoville Saskatchewan and moved to the Alberni Valley in 1956. There after various jobs he bought a service station and named it Denis Hiway Service in 1967.
In the early 80s Albert began his passion of raising American Saddlebred Horses. He found that he needed a drier climate for his horses, so he bought a farm and moved to Falkland BC. Which was a bonus because that put him closer to his brothers and sisters.
In recent years you could find Albert puttering around his farm or pulling a wrench or two for his neighbours.
Albert always had an eclectic group of people around him that he called his friends. In the end he had a good life and will be missed by many.
