The Trans-Canada Highway has reopened after a crash near the View Royal/Langford border closed northbound lanes.

DriveBC is warning motorists to expect significant delays due to congestion.

The highway was closed for about an hour on Wednesday due to a rollover crash near Thetis Lake.

The cause of the single-vehicle crash is still under investigation, according to Cpl. Nancy Saggar, West Shore RCMP spokesperson. The vehicle swerved off the roadway, back onto the highway and rolled onto its roof.

The driver was the only occupant and was taken to hospital. The extent of the driver’s injuries is unknown at this time.

Officers are also on the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Goldstream Avenue that happened around 2:30 p.m. Saggar said to expect delays, though a tow truck is on its way to clear the intersection.
