UPDATE: Saanich police release suspect description after forced entry into Kings Park area home

Detectives continue to investigate following a forced entry into a home in the King Alfred Park area of Gordon Head late Tuesday afternoon.

The Saanich Police Department released further details about the suspect on Thursday (Dec. 16). He is described as a Caucasian man in his early 20’s, six feet tall with a medium build, and was wearing all dark clothing at the time of the incident.

The homeowner answered the door about 5 p.m. Dec. 14 and as they opened it, the suspect pushed their way inside and confronted the owner, an elderly man. The suspect fled the home afterwards, and no information on whether anything was stolen was immediately available.

The homeowner sustained minor, non life-threatening injuries.
