Conan Chee, from Conan Chee Photography, captured this magical image of Fisgard Lighthouse, located at the mouth of Esquimalt Harbour in Colwood and submitted the shot to the I Love British Columbia Facebook page. The first lighthouse erected on the West Coast, the lighthouse was first lit at sunset on Nov. 16, 1860 to ease the movement of naval ships. A National Historic Site since 1958, Fisgard Lighthouse stands adjacent to another such site, Fort Rod Hill.
