Country singer Aaron Pritchett stops by to perform on the Island next month with a couple of friends.

Pritchett will be delivering tunes from his latest Liquored Up album and other favourites on Friday, Feb. 2, at the Port Theatre. Before the Nanaimo show, Pritchett and other “country heavy hitters” will play in Sidney at the Mary Winspear Centre on Feb. 1.

The multi-award winning Canadian country artist is embarking on his first cross-Canada tour in more than five years and he is bringing along the next generation of country with Matt Lang and Cory Marks as supporting acts. Pritchett recently released the collaboration track Liquored Up with Lang and Marks, and the official music video came out on Jan. 18, filmed and directed by Sean Lyons at Cedar’s Wheatsheaf Pub.

Pritchett stated filming the music video “was one of the best experiences he’s ever had filming. Matt Lang and Cory Marks are good friends, so that made it very easy, relaxing and a ton of fun.” All three of his sons and some of his closest friends are extras in the video.

Pritchett’s hits include Better When I Do, Dirt Road in ‘Em, My Way, Big Wheel, Hold My Beer, Warm Safe Place, The Weight and Done You Wrong. He has put out nine albums and won numerous awards from the Canadian Country Music Association and British Columbia Country Music Association.
