In a heartwarming gesture of community support, the annual Warm and Dry Clothing Drive is set to run from Nov. 27 to Dec 1.

The initiative has rallied behind two causes: the Anawim Houses for men and women and the Justice Van Society.

The call for assistance is not without purpose, as it seeks to provide warmth and comfort to those in need during the cold months. Items needed include jackets, men’s shoes in sizes 10, 11, and 12, blankets, underwear, socks, sweatpants, and hoodies.

Donors are encouraged to drop off their contributions on weekdays between Nov. 27 and Dec.1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The two drop-off locations are Jacoby and Games Chartered Professional Accountants at 732 Caledonia Ave. and Integrated Benefit Solutions at 101-1245 Esquimalt Rd.

For those who prefer to contribute via gift cards, Mark’s is recommended as the store has been a steadfast supporter of this cause since its inception.

Your donation could make a significant difference in the lives of those less fortunate in our community, providing them with the warmth and comfort during the next couple months.
