It is with heavy hearts that we announce the quiet passing of Yvonne Alice Carson (nee. Moreau) on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the age of 84. Yvonne leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 55 years, Raynerd Carson. Yvonne was the proud mother of Blair Carson (Miriam) and Sheila Barnes (Wayne), and the grandmother Jacob, Ken, Carson and her namesake "little" Yvonne. Besides her love of family and friends, Yvonne loved to be active and socialize. Her humour and laughter resounded with everyone she met. Yvonne was a chef extraordinaire and extended her hospitality to all. She loved to make everyone happy, which she achieved most often by feeding people. Yvonne was a proud business woman, who ran her own successful company for over 40 years, treating all of her tenants like family. In her younger days Yvonne, at the age of 24 she was a pioneer, the first female stewardess for Quebec Airlines, a job she loved dearly. She was especially proud of working alongside many important Canadian dignitaries including former Prime Minister John Diefenbaker.
