William Lewis Bell, known by his friends and loved ones as "John" passed away peacefully on February 5, 2021, at the age of 92. He was born in High River, Alberta, he worked all over Alberta and B.C. as a skilled crane operator.
In the mid 70's he found his "slice of paradise" and settled down in Nanoose Bay. He loved puttering about in his garden, and waving to the neighbors walking by as he enjoyed the ocean view from his kitchen table.
His great sense of humor and a calm, steady manner were amongst his standout traits. He loved visiting with family and friends, enjoying a cold beer, and listening to country music like Emmy Lou Harris or Hank Snow. He loved talking about construction or reminiscing. Those who knew him will always remember him with a smile. A life well lived. There are special people in our life's that never leave us even after they are gone.
