On June 3, 2019, William Fraser of Chemainus passed peacefully at home at the age of 73.
Survived by his wife Gloria, sons Ben and Tony (Katrina), grandchildren Oriana and Seamus, as well as brother George and nieces and nephews across Canada.
Predeceased by his parents Gerda and Robert, sisters Esther and Ellen, brother Charles, as well as grandson Reice and long-time friends Pauli and Chas Worsley.
Bill was born and raised in Duncan, then moved to Chemainus. He worked at M & B Chemainus sawmill and served many years as 1st Chemainus scout leader.
A public memorial will be held at St. Michael and all Angels Anglican Church in Chemainus 3 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 with a reception to follow.
