It is with great sadness that we must announce the peaceful passing of Wayne on Wed. Oct. 3rd, 2018 at Stanford Place in Parksville, BC with his family by his side after a long battle with health issues.
Predeceased by his parents George and Muriel Pinkney, brother William Pinkney, survived by his loving wife Colleen, sisters Sheila Issacson and Audrie (Richard) Deveau, children Darrell (Duarte), Trent, Kim (Darren), Troy (Leah). Step-children Kelli, Tyler, Shane, Grant (Alexa), 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
Wayne always maintained a great sense of humour and won the hearts of everyone around him and made them all chuckle. He enjoyed spending time down the Canal fishing or going out hunting.
We would like to thank the staff at Stanford Place for the love & taking such good care of Wayne over the past 2 years, we will be eternally grateful.
A celebration of life to be held: Oct. 21, 2018 from 2 pm - 4 pm at Hansen Hall, 3940 Johnston Rd, Port Alberni, BC
