The Family sadly announces Walt's passing at Nanaimo Hospital. He is survived by his wife Eunice, Daughter Alison (Blake), Sons Tim (Denise) and Keith (Sandy). Grandchildren Shalyn, Greg, Darcy, Tamara, Ashley, Nicholas, Derek and Andrew. Great Grandchildren Kye, Harlo, Dax, Brayden, Jensen, Aliyah and Chloe. Walt loved and enjoyed his family and will be dearly missed.
He was predeceased by sister Tilly and brother Joey and is survived by brothers Alex (Darlene) and Roy along with nieces and nephews.
He was a longtime employee of Harmac retiring in 1998. A hunter in his earlier years, always a great fisherman and grew the best veggie gardens which he shared with family and friends. He will be missed by close friends Rob, Faye and Joan.
Celebration of Life Saturday, June 15th at 1 pm at Nanaimo Yacht Club. Flowers gratefully declined.
