July 1, 1930 - June 3, 2019
Walter passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital last Monday. He will be sorely missed and remembered by his wife Doris, his seven children, twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, his brother and sister, his numerous nieces and nephews, and all their partners. Born in Faust, AB, he lived at various times in Nanaimo, Edmonton and area, Calgary, Duncan, and Gabriola Island, then spent the last several decades of his life in the Parksville area. A commercial fisherman and a builder of many things, but most of all, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. In lieu of cards or flowers, please donate to the BC Cancer Foundation.
