In loving memory ~

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Bert (Frosty) Frost at Nanaimo Hospital February 5th, 2025, surrounded by family.

Frosty was predeceased by his parents Myrtle and William Frost and his brother Ralph all of Toronto.

Frosty is survived by his wife of 20 years Sue Reid, his sister Bonnie (Jim) Culley of Langley, his daughter Michelle, his grandkids Makenna and Spencer, and his great grandchildren Zane and Easton

of Nova Scotia.

As a teenager, Bert loved to spend his summers working on his aunt and uncle's farm learning the lay of the land and earning his green thumb for gardening. After graduating, he worked for Philips Electronics. He went on to accept a position with Video West as area manager for their eastern division based In Nova Scotia. What was meant to be a short term of one year, ended up being 19 years!

Bert loved power boating and was happiest with the wind in his hair and the sun on his face speeding across Porter's Lake in his Checkmate power boat. He also had a passion for antiques cars where he would spend hours detailing and polishing his cars. Needless to say, he had the reputation of having the cleanest car in town.

Bert moved to Victoria in the mid-nineties and worked as a salesman for Bruce Alexander of Willie Dodge. Following Bruce to Parksville, Bert, more commonly known to his customers as Frosty, worked for Parksville Chrysler until he retired in 2020.

Bert and Sue met on a blind date and the rest is history. They loved taking their annual trip to Palm Springs soaking up the sun. They also travelled down the Oregon coast, Mexico, Maui and Alaska.

Bert became very close to Sue's family as well. Craig (Barb) Reid, Marcia (Peter) Kent, Lynda Foan and Jordan (Devon) Reid.

Bert was a kind and gentle man who was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
